Editorial policy
Last updated:
Noetrion exists to help readers understand a concept, complete a task, or make a more informed comparison. A page should add an explanation, worked example, decision framework, or useful tool beyond merely repeating an announcement.
Sources and scope
We prefer original documentation, research papers, official statistics, standards, and regulatory publications for technical and factual claims. Sources are linked where they support a claim or in a reference section. A company announcement establishes what the company says; it is not independent proof of product performance. A study result applies to its population, design, measurement, and timeframe.
Forecasts retain their date and assumptions. We separate observed data from scenarios and distinguish a product demonstration from availability or authorization. Readers should follow the original source when acting on a time-sensitive claim.
Original examples and illustrations
Teaching datasets and numerical scenarios are illustrative unless explicitly identified as measured data. Code examples document their assumptions and relevant environment. Concept diagrams explain relationships; they are not photographs of an event or independent measurements. A generated editorial illustration does not serve as evidence for a factual claim.
Reproducible practice
Selected Python, Pandas, and SQL guides include downloadable fixtures, executable checks, expected output, and tested environment details. These are synthetic teaching examples, not production benchmarks. Reproducing an example verifies that example within its stated environment; it does not independently validate every claim on the site.
AI assistance and responsibility
AI is used to assist research, drafting, development, and visuals. This is disclosed because fluent text can contain mistakes. The publisher remains responsible for selecting what is published and responding to corrections. We do not invent expert credentials or imply that a qualified human specialist reviewed an article when no such review occurred.
Updates and consolidation
A displayed source-check date describes the evidence reviewed for that guide. It does not guarantee that the subject has remained unchanged. Substantive revisions receive an updated date. Similar guides should address distinct reader tasks; overlapping material is revised or consolidated when it does not add a useful distinction. We do not change dates merely to make an old guide appear new.
Corrections
Use the correction form to identify the page, problem, and supporting evidence. Reports are stored privately for the publisher. A submission is not a promise of a response or a publication deadline. Material corrections should explain what changed on the affected page rather than silently preserving a misleading claim.
Medical and financial topics
These pages are educational explainers. We do not assess a reader's symptoms, prescribe treatment, recommend a personal portfolio, or claim that a model result predicts an individual's outcome. Important decisions require the appropriate professional and current information for the reader's jurisdiction and circumstances.
Advertising and independence
No third-party advertising or analytics script is currently included in the site code. If advertising is enabled, it must be clearly distinguishable from editorial content and kept away from interactive controls. Payment must not be presented as independent editorial judgment. Sponsorship or affiliate relationships must be disclosed on the relevant page.
