Turn pasted or typed text into a UTF-8 .txt file. Choose a file name and download it directly from your browser.
Line breaks, spacing, accents, and emoji are included in your file. Rich-text formatting is not.
Download as notes.txt. The .txt extension is added automatically.

Save your text in three steps
1. Add your text
Type or paste notes, a draft, a list, or a code snippet into the editor. Plain-text files contain the text itself, without fonts, colors, or images.
2. Choose a file name
Keep notes.txt or enter a name of your own. Characters that cannot be used in common file names are replaced, long names are shortened, and the download always ends in .txt.
3. Download TXT
Save the UTF-8 file and open it in a text editor. Your browser may ask where to save it or place it in your Downloads folder.
